I bet both versions are equally beautiful in their own right:aww:
Weird stuff, never heard of HDR before so just looked it up. How many exposures was this? I am guessing the idea is to gets lots of definition in both the really dark areas and really light areas? Any way it does make the clouds and rays of darkness look exceedingly cool.

Just because you aren't paranoid it doesn't mean they're not after you.
Yeh the proper way to do it is with a tripod and take 3 shots, but I just adjusted the exposure from the RAW photo file.

Photomatix is the software I use for it
wow really nice!
I like how it looks like rays are coming from behind that big cloud.
Cheers, it was pretty awesome
Gorgeous! The shadows add to the pure beauty of it. This is simply amazing, to say the least. Definitely a favorite to be added here!
Thanks, a lot of people like this one, I might update it because this is a crop, there a boat in the bottom too.
I don't like the proportions of the current version...
You're welcome. The sky is amazing! :)
Neat Ive been thinking about doing some exposure blends so I can be more picky about the whole hdr thing

Ive seen some really nice shots done in HDR Im just bothered by all the crap you have to go through to get it done :(

Nice shot :)
